Can I use JQuery to sort by a Checklist field and the results chosen from that field?

I have installed Checklist and added content (2 items) for a user to select. However when I use JQL to try and filter on those items they cannot be found. I can only filter from all items, partial items and so on...

Any idea if this functionality exists - seems as though it would.
