Hi,
I'm pretty new to Jira so it's possible I'm missing something obvious :-)
Is it possible to temporarily suspend a filter from sending out alerts without having to create it afresh or without having to change the alert frequency in the settings ? I can see how to change the day and alert times but it seems rather a pfaff to have to change this.
Basically I want to stop certain alerts when I'm on leave.
Thanks

There is not a way to temporarily suspend a filter subscription. You can only adjust or turn it off.
Thanks Brant.
From what I can see from info when surfing the net the turning off appears to mean the filter gets deleted. Doesn't really sound like what I want. :-(

@Joseph Harrington In the filter you can just edit the subscription. Maybe individuals are saying to delete the subscription. You do not have to delete the filter but adjust the subscription.
When you are looking at the filter just click on the details and then click manage subscriptions.
There you can delete or edit the subscription.
I would suggest just editing it.

Hi Joseph - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!!
Yes, as Brant has described, it's best just to turn on and off the subscription.
Enjoy your vacation!
