Hey everyone! New here and new to Jira
We have a help channel in Slack and we want to use the /jira create, but we do not want people to know we are creating issues in our Jira. Jira keeps sending messages to the thread even though we have muted and change the settings on the Channel notification pannel.
Any ideas on what I can do to stop it? I'm not a Slack admin

Jira features out-of-the-box do not send messages to Slack.
Your site admin (or project admins) have implemented something to do so: marketplace addon app, automation rule, webhook, homemade addon, etc. Please investigate whatever was added to determine how to adjust the levels of notification.
