Can I show other issue types in Basic Roadmaps?

Hi,

Is it possible to show issue types other than epics, stories, tasks, bugs in jira basic roadmaps?

If so, does anyone know how to do this?

Hi @Alexander Boden,

That is definitely possible. In this example, I added an invoice to the roadmap:

You need to add the additional issue type to your project. In this example my project is team managed. Through Project Settings > Issue Types you can add additional issue types to your project.

Once they are defined in your project, they become available in the roadmap too.

In company managed projects, you add issue types to your project by adding them to the issue type scheme of your project.

You can find that quite similarly through Project Settings > Issue types.

Can you add items above the epic in the hierarchy and still see them on the jira basic roadmap?

No @Alexander Boden,

the basic roadmap does not extend above Epics. If you need that, you would be looking into advanced roadmaps (a feature of the premium plan) or marketplace apps like eg structure (ALM Works).
