Can I setup user permission to view only 1 project.

Excuse me may I ask question, Example for now we have 10 projects, can we create new user by have permission view only 1 project.

Yes.  The basic principle is very simple:

  • Let user into the one project they need.
  • Do not let user into all the other projects.

The problem you're likely to have is that by default, Jira is open, assumes sharing and everyone who has any form of access should be able to see most things in it.  This means you'll find a lot of projects welcome your new user in without you needing to add them to it. 

You'll need to check the permissions on all the projects you do not want them to see, where you will find rules like "browse project: Any logged in user" or "browse project: group: jira-software-users (which your user is in so they can log into Jira Software)"

Yes you can do that.

Add user into only one project.

Go to project setting and search users and add user to the specific project role in that project and don't add user any of the project apart from xyz project.

User can  only see perticular project.
