Can I set up sprints to automatically be added to new projects in company managed projects?

I want to have the sprints added automatically to my projects as they are added to Jira.  We have a universal sprint schedule that needs to be propagated to all newly created company managed projects.

You can technically create Sprints when new Jira projects are created via Automation. However, you have to pre-select a board in order to do that. So, the project and board would need to be created and named first. And there is no OOTB automation that can create a board. 

Ultimately, you probably need some API wizardry to achieve exactly what you are looking for. 

A couple things to keep in mind. 

• When a new Jira project is created and doesn't share configuration with another project, then the Scrum board is automatically created using "[project key] board" as the title.
  • Creating projects without a shared config is not best practice 
• When a new Jira project is created and DOES share configuration with another project, a Scrum board is not automatically created.
