Can I set the reply I wrote in Teams so that you can see it in Jira?

Hi,

Using "Send Microsoft Teams message" in Jira project automation, I integrated Teams and Jira. When the Jira issue was created, a message was generated in the Teams channel. But even if I reply, it's not created as a comment for Jira. Is it normal? Can I set the reply to be visible in the Jira issue?

Hey @jun lee

I hope you have used the Webhook in automation for jira to send alerts/notifications to MS Teams. So this is uni-directional integration that is data is sent from Jira to MS Teams.

So to answer your question reply to that alert wont get added in jira tickets. And it's normal.

In order to achieve bidirectional integration then you may have to explore atlassian marketplace apps here https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=microsoft%20teams

Hope this helps !!
