Can I make a Jira board that shows tickets only based on a custom field

I have a jira project that has a custom feild that seperates some of the tickets from others. We wanna make another Jira project that only shows the tickets from that feild. I assume its possible but what would the JQL script look like? Any ideas im not an expert with JQL 😵‍💫

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Try using the Basic Search interface. If you currently get a search screen like the one below, click on the Switch to Basic option.

Then click on the +More field to select your custom field and the value for it that you want to include.

Note that you may need to click the X next to the Created Date field to remove any restrictions on when the issue was created.

Once you have the filter created, you can save it. Then you can create a new board based on that filter.
