I want to mark some Jira issues for later review, but without bothering anyone. So the flag should be visible only to me.  Others may have different opinion what is important for them.

Is there some plugin for that or built-in feature?

Now I have to write down the links elsewhere.

Generally, is there a way to create custom Jira field visible only to the user who added such custom field?

Hello,

Sadly flag feature is system wide and others users can view your flagged issues.
Probably you may find Easy Tracking Free for Jira Issues really interesting.

Hi @Vyacheslav Lanovets - like you I've wanted to be able to mark an Issue with a flag that is only visible to myself. This way, I can leave a mark on an Issue and come back to it later but without creating noise for other users.

We created a Jira Cloud app that allows you to add Issues to your own personal favorites list. Favorites are scoped to individual user accounts, so everyone on your team can favorite issues independently:

You can even create multiple personal favorites lists to further categorize Issues that are relevant to you. You can also search for issues that you've assigned to your personal custom favorites lists using JQL.

The app is called Issue Star, and you can find it here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/1234079

Try the app out, and let us know what you think. Thanks!

Why not use Labels? That is a simple way to tag issues and it doesn’t (shouldn’t) bother anyone.
