I have tickets assigned to me on various boards and projects. I would love to filter everything to one board to have an "at a glance" view of everything I need to work on vs having to go into each project one by one to view my tasks.

Of course, you can filter all the issues assigned to currentUser in the board filter.
Another good option and one I employee is the use of a Dashboard. I actually created a dashboard with a number of useful gadgets using the “currentuser()” filter function and then share the dashboard with any logged in user. In this way anyone can see their full work.
