Can I edit an issue's custom field from the actions quick menu in the issue navigator?

I created a custom field for my issues and I am wondering if it is possible to add that custom field to the 'actions' quick toggles in the issue navigator.

I can currently click to Actions 'gear' button next to the issue and then click edit and adjust the field, but it would be nice if I could simply access it without going into the edit menu. Is this possible?

In JIRA6, you have the detail view and you can do inline edit from issue navigator. Time for upgrade? ;)
