I am thinking to categorize the Epics on the Jira Roadmap based on whether or not the requirements have been scoped out. For example: If an epic is still in "Requirement Gathering" phase, I want to add some sort of differentiation to it so that I can tell them apart from those epics that are well scoped out for the dev team to start working on it.
So, I was thinking adding 'Labels' to the Epics but I don't see any way to display labels on the Epics. Can you please tell me how can I display Labels on the Epics on the Roadmap Or if you can think of any other way to achieve this purpose? Thank you!
Thanks for the response.
No, we don't have a status for "Requirement Gathering" yet, also I think when you say "to save a view", I believe you are talking about the advanced roadmap. Do we have this kind of flexibility on the standard version of the roadmap that appears at top left in Jira.
Requirement is that at the roadmap we would like to see which epics are ready to work and which epics are still in requirement gathering phase.
Hi @Sonali Shree and welcome to the community!
I typically have a different view for planning vs execution. So if you have a status of "Requirement Gathering", I'd filter the roadmap to only show that status and save as a view.
