Can I disable the horizontal scroll bar on a scrum board?

I upgraded Jira from 7.10 to 8.2.1 and now the scrum boards have a horizontal scroll bar. I don't see all my columns on screen at once. Can I disable the scroll bar?

You cannot disable it yet, and there is a suggestion to add that capability at the link below, which you can review and vote for:

There is also a suggested work-around in the suggestion's comments, using the Announcement Banner for the entire install (rather than one project), although I have not tried it.

I found that Jira issue you linked to after I had posted my question. I need to "search better" before I post a question!
