Can I delete old legacy labels from field suggestions? (see image)

Update: Ran a bulk change clearing the labels field on all issues and still have the legacy label values (please see attached image)

In JIRA cloud we are using the Labels field on issues. There are a bunch of old labels in there from long ago that we no longer use and would like to delete them as this is cumbersome. Is there a way to do this?

Hi Steve,

You would need to remove the labels from all issues. If you want to keep the historical data I would suggest doing a csv export with the key, summary and label to create a usable archive of sorts.

Any other suggestions? I cleared all the label data from all issues and it still comes up as "Suggestions" as before.?...
