Can I configure the move option to choose where it can move a template card

My Jira board is setup in Columns.  Initially it went from Template to Requested and we are considering adding a new column between Template and Requested called Submitted for Review.  When a template is cloned we open the cloned card and use the move option to move it to Requested.  Is there a way to change that move configuration so it would go from Template to Submitted for Review?

You want a cloned card to automatically transition?

Is there something which clarifies it was cloned from the template? EG. a link back to the clone?

If yes, you could do this using Automation - eg.

• If an issue is created
• And, it was created from the Template (i.e it's linked to it)
• Then, transition the new issue to a specific Status
