Can I configure JIRA so that sub tasks have an epic link?

Can I configure JIRA so that sub tasks have an epic link?

We would like to have the epic show up on the sub tasks so that it shows up on the dashboards and shows on the sub task. Sometimes a sub task will be assigned to someone that isn't invovled in the epic day to day and it would be nice for them to know what epic the task is part of without having to work backwards to the story.

Unfortunately it is not possible to add the epic link to the sub task.

Shame, thank you for the quick reply i've been all the way through the settings pages and hoped I'd just missed it!
