Hi am being asked to move from trello to jira at work but need to be able to colour code the whole card not just a little label like in microsoft planner. Is that possible here - very hard to tell without purchasing a licence. Thanks
Hi @Jo
On a Jira board card colors can be used.
See; https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/customize-cards/
For all information related to a board see; https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/configure-a-company-managed-board/
Hi @Jo , as a daily subscribed Trello user, I can confirm that it is not possible to color the entire card or apply a background image to it. In Trello, colors are applied only to labels, not to the full card background. This is a product limitation and is likely intentional to keep the interface simple and readable.
Trello does offer card covers (solid colors or images), but these only appear at the top of the card and do not change the full card background.

Hope this answers your question. Feel free to reply if you need more details, and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
