Can I change the ownership of a project from one company to another

Hi, Another company is taking over ownership for a project we have set up in Jira.  Can we move ownership of the project in Jira to a completely different company or does this new company need to rebuild the project from scratch in Jira?

Does the other company have their own Jira Cloud instance?

If so, there are cloud-to-cloud migration options that can help you move the data from your Jira Cloud instance to their Jira Cloud instance. Refer to
