Can I change Project Template on a Next-Gen project from Kanban to Scrum, or vice versa?

When I set up my next-gen projects as a newbie, I didn't really pay attention to the project template - and now I have some that are Kanban and some that are Scrum, which is fine as we use both - but what I've found is I have a project using Kanban template which is really a Scrum project and would like to change it.

Thank you for reaching out to Community!

Jira has many project templates for Service Desk and Bussiness and two for Software and when we create a project on any of the products, currently it's not possible to change the template or the project type.

There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:
