The agile boards in Jira do not support grouping by any work item levels other than level 1 and level 0.
If your work item hierarchy has been extended above level 1, which it seems to be based on you statement about the layers, then you won't be able to group by Epic. In your hierarchy, level 1 is Feature and level 0 is Story.
You can see the extended issue hierarchy in a Plan Timeline with the child items order by rank, but Plans do not provide a "board" view.
