Our git naming convention starts branches with a development type: "feature/", "bugfix/", and the like.
Right now our new branches created from a ticket use {issueKey} - {issueSummary}.
We have a custom field named "Development Type" on our tickets, and I would like that to come before the issueKey. Something like this {Development Type}/{issueKey}-{issue-summary}.
Is this possible? No custom fields appear in the options for changing the name, and I can't find a syntax using {}, "", '', $ or anything else that will recognize I am entering a custom field.

No I'm afraid that's not possible. You can only use the available options.
The settings in your screenshot are also only valid on a per user basis. So it's basically a personal setting.
Ah, got ya. Thanks. Maybe we can get something working on the bitbucket side.
