Can Anyone give me the steps to take a attachments backup ?

Hi

Can anyone explain, how to take a backup on attachments in JIRA.

Kindly give a steps.

To prepare it, look in Admin -> Attachments, or Admin -> System Information.

Those will tell you where the "root" of the attachments storage is.

Use whatever backup tool you want to use for file systems to back up that directory and all its contents.

No Nic i need to take a specific project backup with attachments and it is not giving option to change a directory path also..

That is not what you asked.

Not that the answer is much different though. Go to the root of the attachments directory, and read the directory structure. You will find a directory that maps on to a project. Take a recursive backup of that using whatever backup tool you want.

I assume you want the project data from the database as well. You'll need a full Jira xml to get a file containing it.
