I have been asked to create a custom monthly calender by a project manager (for one Jira project). They have asked me to filter on a number of fields and statuses for tasks.
I have tried to create in the Jira project using the Calendar function. I get pretty close, but I cannot figure out how to save the settings for the project manager to use. I am also unable to create any "Quick filters" - which would be a possible solution for a more interactive selection option for the project manager to use.
Having access to Plans, I also tried to create a monthy calender, but this seems a bit OTT, as it is only one Jira project I wish to access data from.
I looked into using Confluence, but the standard Jira Issues Calender, but this does not show any Issue information, just the number of issues (linked to the Issues in the Jira project)
Grateful for any suggestions or tips
I agree, the Jira Project Calendar view is designed for basic issue visualization, but not helpful here. Besides your idea to use Plans, which is my favorite solution, I would look into Marketplace apps if the project manager insists on a highly interactive calendar.
