Buttons "Add Form", "Add PIR", and "Investigate" In Desk Service Ticket

Emily.Cottrell January 30, 2023

Hello,

The buttons "Add Form", "Add PIR", and "Investigate" just appeared on our tickets in JSM. Is there a way to disable these? Is there any release notes or documentation for this feature?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

"Add form" is a standard Jira function that Atlassian deployed ages ago, when they acquired the company that did forms for Jira.

The other two look like they are being provided by an app of some sort, you will need to ask your admins where they are coming from.

Thank you for this information. Is there a way to disable or remove the "Add form" button?

I think if you go to project admin -> forms, and delete all the forms, then the button will vanish (because it's useless if there are no forms)

We use forms in several of our request types for the portal. Is there a way to hide/remove/disable this button without deleting all forms?

No, I'm afraid not.  A project either has forms, or it does not.

@Emily.Cottrell Did you find a solution to hide the button? We are facing the same Problem right now.

I guess you already found out that the Investigate button has to do with incidents and Opsgenie. You can follow this ticket: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/OPSGENIE-474

Thank you for the information! Do you have any documentation on how to configure this button/how it works?

I think you should be able to find that out here: https://support.atlassian.com/opsgenie/docs/investigate-an-incident/
