As an admin user I have created a Service Desk and Business project. I am offered the delete ticket option in the Service desk project but the option is not available in the Business Project.
I have changed the project key and name a few times and messed around, but it is using the default permissions scheme so far.
Has anyone any ideas on how to make the delete option appear?

Did you check the DELETE ISSUE permission for Business project?
Also you can do the following;
