Burnup for an Uber epic

Hi there,

There are 3 teams working on one Uber epic and each team is assigned with multiple epics. These epics have multiple user stories with story points assigned to them and are distributed across the sprints (6 Sprints).

I need a help to plot a burn down graph for an uber epic ( Story points vs Sprints) and also burn down chart  team wise. can you please help me?

Hi @krishna sharma,

This can be easily done by using the Release Burndown Burnup Chart gadget offered by our Great Gadgets app. 

This gadget allows you to generate a burndown chart for the issues from a Jira filter. So, all you have to do is to create and save a filter in Jira that returns all the issues from the Uber epic and then to configure the gadget to use this filter. This gadget does not use sprints, but you can configure it to display time intervals of the same length as your sprints (2 weeks, for example), aligned to your sprint start dates. The chart can also make a prediction/forecast of the epic ETA based on the current velocity. 

 

By following similar steps, you can configure the gadget to display a team-wise chart.
