Burndown on dashboard without board

Is it possible to create a burndown (based on filter) without the need to create a new board?

Rob, where do you want to create the burndown? You should be able to show a burndown chart on a dashboard by selecting the sprint.

I have a sprint board with my complete team, but I also want a burndown per person. This is not possible without selecting a board. It should be helpfull to select a filter in stead of board.

A filter does not have the information required for generating a burndown chart. You need the sprint information as well as the issues, and as sprints are part of boards, you therefore need the board.
