Burndown chart not reflecting burn hours

I'm new for Jira. My administrator have set burn down chart against story points. In Sprint1 have (mix of stories and Tasks).  Team members have assigned tasks. We put original effort in hours against tasks. We are logging effort in hours too.

Let's take below example

Task A was Original estimated 3h.  I worked on this task and log work as 2h and changes status "Done". When I'm going to see burn down chart it's not reflecting.

Is burndown chart works against stories only?

Burndown works off the "done" column in the board.  The issue type does not matter, just what is in the last column.
