Bulk import using CSV - failing

Bulk import is not working. it is giving errors everytime I tried to import. I matched all the fields accordingly, still unable to import, some error is showing everytime

Hi Tim, 

Please find my different error messages and the original csv file images attached. Even if I fix the issue mentioned, it still gives me some other issue.

Some issues which are very confusing -

1. Precondition type and Test type are not matching. Here in precondition - I would obviously have some information regarding navigating to home page details, whereas Test type would be either Manual or Automated. How can I match these two fields? 

2. Action - Should I match with Current Action field, I am always getting error saying Action field is not present. 

It would be better if I can send all the error files, I am unable to attach the files here.

@Latha Krishnan , welcome to the community.

We definitely will need some more information to be able to assist further. Could you paste in an example of your csv? Just the header and a single row of data is all that is needed. As Tim requested, also include the air message that you're receiving. How many rows are you attempting to import. I find it it's always best to start with 1 to 5 issues and get that working so you can save your csv into jira should file.

sorry i now understand this is associated with Xray which I don't have experience with so unsure I can help. That said the error messages seem to direct you to the issues, e,g. missing action which is apparently required. if you are providing the action then the mapping might be off.

It can be a number of things, from wrong mapping in the import, wrong project, configuration issue, etc.

So it is best to contact Xray Support (http://Xraysupport.getXray.app) to share your configuration so that the support team can investigate further.
