Hi,

I have a list of Jira ticket URLs (eg,

https://orgname.atlassian.net/issues/JIXX-5400). Id like to import these tickets to Jira.

I have over 200 URLs of these Jira tickets.

How can I do a bulk import?

Thanks

Hello @sarah

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

There is not a native tool where you can provide a list of issue URLs and get the data from those issues extracted and then pushed/imported into another Jira instance. Without third party apps, you would need to export the data for those 200 issues, and then execute an import process on the destination system.

With a third party app available on both the source and destination instances it might be possible to transfer the data in a different manner.

Do you want to import the data associated with those issues into a different Jira instance?

What data specifically are you hoping with be included in the import process (field data, history data, attachments, comments, ...)?

Are the issues from Company Managed or Team Managed projects?

Are they from Business/Work Management, Software, or Service Management projects?

Are you trying to import all issues into one project or into different projects in the destination Jira instance?

Are all the fields in the source data already set up in the destination Jira instance, with the same options/configuration?
