Bulk edit "add to" for a field that only has replace?

We use the Teams field in Jira to assign work to teams, and multiple teams often collaborate on an issue.

We recently introduced two new teams and need to add them to existing issues so they can take over the work.

However, when performing a bulk edit, the Teams field does not provide an option to "add to existing" teams. Instead, it only allows replacing all existing teams with one single team.

Is there a way to add the new teams to issues while keeping the current teams intact? I'm open to using a plug-in if necessary.

Hi @season.hughes and welcome to the Community!

That will not work, since the Team field is a single select field. You can only select one team in it, so adding existing teams is not an option, I'm afraid.

There is a feature suggestion to change this, but it does not seem to be on a short term roadmap. You can track it here: JRACLOUD-89087.
