Using bulk update, I want to clear the due date on about 130 issues. The documented steps in the similar question from 2018 are not working (checking the box next to due date and leaving it blank). Thanks for an assistance.
Hi @Jonathan Perkins welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Are you able to share screenshots of the error message?
Or the link to the topic you're referring to?
Hi Dave, there is no error message. The scenario is that I have about 100+ Jira issues with due dates that I need to clear. I start the bulk edit, select the issues, click the box next to "due date," and do not enter any date. Then I process the update, which complete, but does not result in any change to the existing due dates.
As a second attempt, I tried the same process, but entered a space in the due date field. That results in an error messages that I did not enter a valid date.
So the overall question is: Is it possible to bulk clear/nullify/blank due dates on Jira issues?
Thanks!

I cannot reproduce this in my environment. Due dates are cleared via bulk action.
Do you have the Schedule Issues permission in that project?

Oh boy--I think it may have been a cache/browser refresh issue. Sorry to waste your time on this.
