Hello,
Would it be possible to change the status in bulk as in the filter view?
It would significantly improve the experience and make our employees faster and more effective. It's way more important function than Copy to clipboard.
What do you think?
I don't know if this restriction justifies additional tooling for you, but just to put it out there in case it is useful:
If you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, you may want to have a look at the app that my team and I are working on: JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a range of advanced features - including support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or conditional formatting - and works across any number of projects.
Plus, inline bulk editing works for all editable issue fields, including the status:
As every JXL sheet is powered by a JQL query or saved filter, you have full control over which issues you want to include.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes
Hey @Patrik Štoural
The Edit option in the list view doesn't support the status field. You can go to the issues tab and use the "Bulk change issues" option (which is the same as running it from the Filters page).
Thanks!
