Bulk change in issues

Hello Folks,

Can anyone assist me in modifying multiple issues in Jira? I’m using Jira Standard and would like to make a bulk change, including changing the parent of multiple issues and the assignee.

I’ve attempted a bulk change in the past but can’t recall where I did it.

Could someone please guide me through this process?

Hello Shivam,

To Bulk Change something, you have to go into the "Issues" function. Then you can filter for the issues that you want to bulk change, then go the "..." in the top right and find the "Bulk Changes to X Issues". From there, you can change different things. Let me know if you have more questions.

The Parent of the Issue can be changed by going under Edit Issues -> Change Parent

Hi @Shivam Sharma

To open Bulk change, go for View all issues from Search or Filters menu.bulk change in jira.png

For the next steps of bulk operation, you need to:

  1. Choose Issues
  2. Choose Operation
  3. Operation Details
  4. Confirm

I am not sure about the parent, but assignee should be available for this operation.
