Bulk Upload Stories and Associated Tasks

I am new to JIRA and Greenhopper and am trying it for a new project.

I have all my stories and associated tasks in an excel format, how can I upload them to Greenhopper in one go.

Yes, each story is a Jira issue. You could do a bulk import as explained at https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Importing+Data+from+CSV

Hi Renjith,

I am trying to load  "Story " using bulk import.But i am getting below error.

Unexpected failure occurred. Importer will stop immediately. Data may be in an unstable state: Illegal Entity Scope for Entity class (ISSUE_TYPE). Expected entity scope 'GLOBAL' but has scope 'PROJECT'

It is working fine when loading other issue types.Could you please help.
