What if there are 50issues and now I want to change their assignee or maybe I need to add epic? 50 times I have to perform an action for it.
There should by Select all checkboxes, and I should be able to decide either I have to perform the action for all issues, some issues, or one.
Hi @Bano Iqbal and welcome to the community,
There is a bulk edit action, but it's a global permission. If you don't have it, then you should contact your admin, or have the admin do that work for you. In any case you can go to advance search and search for all the issues you want to change. Then click on the ellipsis menu and hit "bulk change"

Hi @Bano Iqbal and welcome to the community!
This option is available in Jira out of the box. A prerequisite is that you have the global permission to make bulk changes.
As soon as you do, just navigate to Filters > Advanced issue search (cloud) or Issues > Search for issues (on prem). Then create a filter that contains your 50 issues and from the top right corner select Bulk Change / edit.

Hope this helps!

Hi Walter, do you have any idea why it's necessary to "create a filter that contains your 50 issues"? Why can't I just select the issues to bulk change (e.g. in the Jira project backlog) and select bulk change in an ellipsis or right-click menu? I'm sure this used to be the way to do it, and it had much better usability, in my view.

Hmm, I did not word that perfectly clear, @Old Twig. As a small correction on my part: you don't need to create a filter. Just searching for the issues is enough (saving it is not necessary).
