Built-in Story Point Estimate not available for Estimation on Scrum Board (Company Managed)

The built-in story point estimate field is not available as a field choice for estimation on a company managed scrum board.
Below I edited the name of a story point custom field someone manually made to make it distinguishable from the built-in field. As you can see in the estimation stat dropdown, only the manually made field is available as a choice.
Is this intentional? Is there some way to use the "proper" field?
