Builds sync includes from old git history

We have Jira id-s part of commits.
But sometimes branches and commits can happen that has no specific branch.

In this case it seems it keeps going back in history until it finds one. And this is now invalid.
It will link to unrelated tickets.

It should only consider the commit that triggered the build. Not the entire history.
Can this be configured somehow?
