We're afraid that you might be running into the following bug report:

• Agile Boards: Exception: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property '1' of null

This is indeed a bug in localization that was already verified and fixed by our developer's team on JIRA 7.7.2, 7.7.3, 7.8.3, 7.9.0 versions. The bug reports mention the Russian Language, but it happens with other languages as well.

The workaround besides updating your JIRA installation is to use the default English language.
