Bug life cycle customization

Hello,

I'm trying to customize the life-cycle of a bug. Please point me at the right direction, I'm new to Jira. 

I would like to have the following states:

• New
• Assigned
• Open
• Fixed
• Retesting
• Reopen
• Verified
• Closed

What you describe is a workflow. Specifically, the bullet points you are listed are steps in a workflow.
I'd recommend you to go through the documentation of workflows and if there are open questions afterwards feel free to come back to the Community, a lot of friendly people are here to help.
