Browser Bookmarks for JIRA 'break'

I'm hearing from our users that their jira bookmarks on their browers are  broken others are stating that sometimes the bookmark doesnt work but later it does. The response messages is that they don't have  project access anymore.  Browsers used are Edge and Chrome.

Their session has timed out and they are no longer logged in.  If they bookmark the project they will get something like below but is all they need to do is login.
