Board viewing and Permission

I created a new user, I added this user to a group and I added the group to the Jira software user group so as for the group to have user permission. But signing with new I realized I do not have access to the board, (active sprint and backlog).

Do I need to give the grow the Browse project permission or this can be done from the board settings?

yes to see the board in that project, Only Browse permission can be done to see the board.
