Board tab in JIRA missing JIRA Software Application

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Board tab in JIRA missing JIRA Software Application

I just upgraded from JIRA 5 with the agile plugin to JIRA Software 7 and now my agile boards and sprints are all gone and there is no boards tab in the menu. Anybody know what I need to do?

Check the access to the Software application, and that it is installed properly under "manage applications"
