Board missing in my project

I lost my discussion board items when I am going to board. There were more boards and suddendly lot of them disappered.

Could you please tell me the reason or restore.

I can see more items in list as compare to board view.

You'll need to be more specific about your issue to get help. We do not have access to your site here, so could you tell us:

• what you mean by when I am going to board? What steps do you follow to do this?
• when you say "there were more boards" - how did you access those?
• what do you mean with "items" in list / board view? Do you mean issues in a Jira Work Management project or something else?

Actually we had more stuff on my following project (see screenshot below)

in fact, in the listing mode, we have more stuff as compare to the board mode, please check the screeshot:

I am not sure why i am not able to see full listing on board mode anymore and it was showing everything till 31st december.

Please help!

Hi @rohit bhatia,

If you look closely at the status Finalised by client you'll see it is green. That is in Jira a Done status and I suspect that issues that reach that status are probably also getting a value set in the resolution field.

As of that moment, Jira considers these issues as done. When an issue is done, it is hidden from your board after 2 weeks.

It is not very common to have a done status in the middle of your workflow. An issue should only be done when there is no more work to be done. So if I'm right, you should make sure not to set a resolution when an issue is moved to Finalised by client and maybe even update that status' category to In Progress rather than done.

Thank you for letting me know that after 2 weeks "default done item listing" hides from board.

This will help me to manage things properly.
