Block service account form using the jira login UI (on prem)

We have multiple user accounts setup for API integration to Jira (on prem version) Currently, these accounts can also be used to login through the UI.  If i remove this account from teh groups assigned under Application Access, will they still be able to function at the API level without being able to login through the UI? if not is there another way to achive this goal?

Hi @Frank Schloendorn 

No, they won't be able to login or access through the api if they are removed from application access. Do you want to limit their access to specific projects, if yes then use permission schemes.
