We have a client who is getting a blank white page when trying to submit a new Jira ticket.  Does anyone know what is causing this or how to troubleshoot this?

It could be a couple of different causes.  Have them check the following:

  1. Make sure that they are logged in - Have them go to Jira.com and login there then go back to the service desk.
  2. Make sure it is not a browser cache issue - Have them try another browser or clear their browsers cache and try again.
  3. Make sure that they do not have a browser plugin that is causing the issue - Have them try another browser.

If none of those work it will be harder to troubleshoot because it could be a anti-virus, firewall rule or something else.  In this case you could see if they have a different computer they could use or use a computer of a co-worker who can get in.  

You should also make sure that they have access to the portal.  If you have your service desk locked down to specific customers than they will not be able to access the portal and if they are going there using  direct link it might (probably not but worth checking) be the issue.

They do have access to the portal and said that they tried incognito mode and multiple browsers.  I'll have them try to log out and back in.
