Billing from annually to monthly

If we would have annual subscription for 50 seats and in the process we would want to add another 5-10 users. Since we cannot keep annual and monthly subscriptions, how is the process of changing from annual to monthly subscription? 

How long does process take and how are we billed?

Thanks for the reply. But I can find only information from monthly to annual but not vice versa.
