Last week, I have installed the BigGantt app into Jira. I have created a big roadmap and saved it. I used the new (Alpha version) for this, by clicking the icon on the left top when in a BigGantt project. However, when I want to go back to it today, it just stays on the loading screen for a few minutes and then says "Something went wrong - try to reload or contact Atlassion Support."
I already put the maximum loaded-tasks to a minimum, so it is not that - the normal version of BigGantt loads fast and without any problems. I also tried it in both Firefox and Chrome, but it doesn't work on any.
Does anybody have an idea what it could be?
Hello @dbrandt
I am happy that you decided to try BigGantt out, and at the same time, I am sorry that you experienced issues with loading your Program.
Please be informed that currently, we are in the process of upgrading BigGantt to the latest plugin version - BigGantt 8. The upgrading process is planned to be completed by the end of this week (23/10/2020). In the latest version, the new Gantt module officially replaces the previous one. It is packed with new features but also includes improvements and redesign of already known features such as the grouping, critical path, column views, “what-if” scenarios.
I do hope that after the upgrade, the issue with Program loading will not occur more because we significantly improved performance.
If you are interested in changes that have been made, please see the article - Redesigned Gantt charts in BigPicture 8 and BigGantt 8.
I hope you will find the new Gantt as a useful tool both for high-level project management and facilitating everyday work.

Hi @Anna-BigPicture ,
Thank you for your answer! I have indeed seen the changes that will arrive with the BigGantt 8 release, that's why I am excited to try it :)
I have updated the BigGantt Jira plugin to version 1.0.118-AC (that is the newest one available for Jira), but unfortunately the new version still doesn't load for either me or my colleagues. Do you have any idea what else I could try to make it work?
Thanks!
