Benefit of Tempo Planner

Kerstin Metz
August 19, 2014

Hi,

i know the difference between Timesheets an Planner ist that Timesheets works mostly with the past and Planner with the future.

But since I can kind of plan my employes already with Timesheets,

what is the really difference or better the benefit of Tempo Planner?

Thanks

Kerstin

In my view, the major difference is the "capacity planning" aspect. With Tempo Planner, you can plan the work for your team mates and see how it brings down the capacity for that time period.

Tempo Planner automatcially calculates the capacity for a Sprint based on the existing commitments, holiday schemes, workload schemes etc and projects the number of hours available for the Sprint. Helps during the sprint planning.

Tempo team surely can expand more on this ;)
