Before starting the sprint there is a difference in Original time & remaining time estimate of users
Hi, Im Anuththara. I have created a new agile project on JIRA and added 65 tasks (61 tasks and 4 story points). The 4 story points contain sub tasks in each as well.
I have assigned those respectively among 5 users. I am using time tracking, but not the story point estimation, hence I have logged time estimation for each tasks and subtasks (but not to the story points).
Even though I have created the sprint, it was not active yet, when I'm checking the sprint summary following is what I get;
I don't know how Original time estimate (which I've entered) and remaining time estimate has a difference even before the team start logging their time.
Even the original time estimate for each user does not tally with the totals I got by manually summing up their efforts for each tasks.
Appreciate If someone can let me know what is happening here?
Im worried whether this will impact on the accuracy of my sprint reports.
